12/29/2013 (Early Morning Post)
- Established MORE music/similar stuff.
- Found some bed sprites (those'll be nice)
- Spruced up the interiors in Biddlesworth
- Breathed a tiny bit more life into Mercenary Town
- Changed the music in Mercenary town because the former is more fitting of a super-serious city
- Made it so that non-important interiors will have the same BGM as their towns
- Established some debt/loan systems using variables
- Worked on that damned Inn in Biddlesworth I've been putting off
- Set up the sexy bits system. It's real simple with +/- 1 rather than giant variables like in JW
- Ripped a bunch of SE .wav files from the NWN .bif files
- Scared myself shitless when I decided I was going to make a creepy scene at the inn (Note to self, never listen to creepy-ass ambience at 2 in the morning with the wind knocking things against yourself outside)
- Aurren gained a little emotion!
- Considered removing the whole drug system I planned to add
- Ended up adding a Purity/Corruption scale, but it will have far less effect than it did in JW and serve more as a basis for prerequisites down the line.
- Made a ton of progress with the overland map
- Drank some Camomile tea because that stuff's delicious (screw the health benefits)
12/28/2013
- Got Cecilia's sprite/facesets added
- Added in some more music/ambience
- Created the wastelands in the overland which won't see use for a very, very long time
- Created the town (if you can call it that) of Biddlesworth (well, the exterior anyways)
- Breathed some life into Mercenary Town
- Refined the difference between item shops and church shops (yes, the church has a requisitions shop)
- Added a bunch of l00t to the database
- Created some starter enemies on top of the default ones (Desperate Thugs and Giant Butterflies oh my!)
- Specified to the game that staying on the road is far safer than going off-road (as it should be)
- Fixed an issue with the priest blocking access to statues
- Put in some basic interiors for the town of Biddlesworth
- Established the currency of choice as the Talon.
12/26/2013
- Changelog created.
- Set up Dog (relatively low-level helper until other folks join your party)
- Created a ton of items/accessories. Renamed a lot of 'em.
- Created the shops
- Found a ton of music (It's never enough!)
- Planned out some more stuff (about two pages of notes)
- Created the game's gods/goddesses and general backstory (needs work, currently a solid read)
- Found a couple sprites
- Got a better idea of how I want the starting game to look
- Worked out how I'll make the side-quest system work (side-quests are meant to keep grinding from being too boring.
- End goal for the game is becoming more and more unattainable, but worth shooting for.
